Saw a 48re on e-bay rebuilt from Suncoast. Anybody had any experience with these?

I have the Comp transmission. Billet from one end to the other. I couldn't be happier.

Did you guys get it for $2,300 like it states on e-bay? Or is that the bottom of the line price where you have to upgrade to get a good product for twice the price?

No offense, but you couldn't have checked out transmission prices tooooooooo much. A quality TC and Valve Body will probably run close to the $2300. Not to worry,... that may be all YOU need. It depends on what you want and how you are REALLY going to use your truck. Don't lie to yourself as doing things twice always costs more.
