Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) SunCoast Rebuild Kit

Has anyone ever tried this SunCoast Kit:



Extreme duty rebuild kit: This Master rebuild kit offers the shop or DIY truck owner a complete kit with Alto Red Hi-energy frictions, Kolene steels, gaskets, seals, sealing rings, rigid intermediate band, and HD strut. The extreme duty rebuild kit furnishes all the soft parts to accomplish a complete overhaul. It increases clutch count in direct and overdrive. This kit requires a professional skill level.



Can it be installed with a DODGE Factory book, a good farm shop, and some dial indicators and such?

Depending on your skill level, you may be able to put the kit in. You WILL need a press to disassemble the O/D unit. There is heavy spring in there.



To increase the clutch count, will it require any maching? Or are the frictions/steels are thin enough, not to require it?



If the kit also has stuff for the valve body, you will probably need some pressure gauges, also.



There is a chance you will need some hard parts, too. My stocker had a bad sun gear in the O/D.
