My trans is getting ready to crap out on me. I'm driving a 95' (197k) with the old famous 47RH, I've been told that I'm lucky to get that kinda milage out of it so I'm not complaining. To be honest with you I bought the truck with 150k on it and i don't think its ever been serviced  . Just wanted to know how yall felt about suncoast and their products. I've called and talked to them they seem like their interested in helping. Even gave me a couple things to check before I bought a new trans.

i have a DTT and love it all the fastest diesel guys in the country seem to be running suncoasts for some reason though that should be enough for you to decide.

Well I can say this ... . I have yet to run mine because of engine issues ... BUT ... I took my truck up to them to have it put in and I cant say enough about Joe and his crew Oo. Really GREAT people. When I left to go home I had the feeling like I was laving family that I wouldn’t see for a few years.

I also have a DTT with a ATS triple loc converter, it is a awesome unit

i don't think you can go wrong with any good trans, DTT, ATS, suncoast, etc. etc. etc.

when you do the trans, don't leave anything out, get all the good stuff, do it once and do it right.

trust me the first time you drive it you will go :--) :--) :--)

See sig for what I have. PM for more info on DTT if interested.

My recommendation is call many manufacturers, tell them what you're using your truck for, power level, etc. Ask lots of questions.

do it once and do it right.
And that is perhaps the best advice of all.

I've bought two suncoast transmissions (allison, 47RH), and the service is excellent. . Speak to Joe directly. . He won't let you buy any parts that he feels you don't need. . I was impressed...

Iam currently running the suncoast tripple disc TQ. WOW :--) What a difference. Unfortunately, I had no idea untill I put the comp box on as to what it will do. Like already posted... there are TONS of good makers. I believe 1 good transmission that hasnt been mentioned is GB (Goerend Brothers..... not sure if its spelled right... hope so) I have found most of these guys are very easy to talk to and stand behind their product. IMHO. Just research what type of application,HP rating, warranty info, ect. They all are expensive but its probably the single BIGGEST upgrade you can do to your truck. ;)
