Any TDR Chapters in South Carolina and need info on the Abbeville Area ?

Ok guys as usual we're gonna have the annual July greet & eat at my house. Normally we do this on a Saturday, but this year Saturday falls on my parents wedding anniversary so it would be better to do Sunday.

If you have something small mechanical wise that you would like to tackle I have a 2 car basement/garage and all of your regular hand & air tools so speak up. I can't accomodate duallys though sorry.

Directions:

Get off @ the Lebanon Hwy 231 Exit on I-40 going back in towards town.

Follow 231 all the way through Lebanon and on out to the 231/25 junction in the sticks.

Once you've went through the 25 Junction its 3. 3 miles on the left. Scott Rd. big log house with a red tin roof.

physical address is 1076 Scott Rd. Bethpage TN 37022

I'd say anytime after 12Noon would be great. We'll have burgers & hot dogs, just bring your own choice of chips and beverage caffinated or adult! :-laf

If your nice I'll get my mother to make her special chocolate desert! ;)

The pavement on Scott Road works great for tire truing. :D

So talk it up fellas. Elected not to do a mailout. Robin says they can only do a couple a year for each chapter--and I thought we might save our next one for a Fall Fling--maybe at Bean's with a dynojet!

I think there's a clearance issue with tall stacks at Mark's house too. What's the vertical measurement Mark?

I'll volunteer a pressure gauge for 12v LP testing. The 24v LP is better tested by volume--Meacham is your expert there. I'll also volunteer the Timing Kit and Barring tool in case someone needs to look into that.

Oh, and I have a new member who needs gauges installed on a 12v--maybe I can get him to show up. Of course he also needs an AFC spring, GSK, and whichever plate a stock clutch will hold, and timing. I'll kick it with him while we grab frogs Saturday night. Dark moon this weekend--time to get them jumpers. Time to go grabbling/graveling too!

I'd love to do my timing if we could. Maybe a little too involved for the meeting, I don't know. I still haven't shimmed the GSprings on my truck or adjusted the gov. lever. I'll try it again Monday.

It's just a matter of dropping a valve on #1 going round and back finding TDC, pulling #1 injector line, setting up indicator, popping the gear off, guesstimating the spot, re-attaching gear and checking. Repeat as necessary. Re-adjust valve lash. Zip it up. Takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on skills and mindset and luck of chief wrench at the time. :p

I'll get y'all a vertical measurement tomorrow before I leave for Indy. Wade I think your the only one that would be coming with stacks?!? Maybe AHire, but I think he'd clear.

I've pulled mine off for the time being and am running a straight 4" all the way out the back. Picked a 4" over the axle tailpipe from a Lebanon 3rd Genner @ Beans for $25! :D

I'm planning to make it interchangeable where I can easily switch to stacks or tailpipe so I still have my miters for pulling. Oo. :-laf

I know its still early, but its nice to see at least a little activity going on here. C'mon fellas. :{

Sorry guys I didn't get to get that measurement this morning. Decided to rebuild the Lukes Link before leaving for Indy, really glad I did! Now if I had just had time to fix that dang lose shock. :{ But we stripped the castle nut when reinstalling so it took quite a while of filing to get the stud and a new nut from NAPA to get it back on. x2

Not sure I`ll be able to make it on Sunday guys. I`ll do my best, but the wife works Sunday nights, so a trip that far isn`t gonna sit too well with her, lol.

*BUMP* we're a little closer... ... anybody who thinks they can make it please feel free to post up so I can get an idea on food amounts. ;)

Sounds great to me. . I've got it on my calendar. Don't need anything done at this point (unless ya'll want to do some body work Long story). I'll at least stop by for an hour or so... you're right down the road.
