Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Super Chip on E-bay

Anyone seen or used one of these before. SCMT tri-tuner, programmer. Claims to have 3 power settings,reads codes and under $300. I was checking out stuff on E-bay, and came across it. Is this one of those "If it looks to good to be true" stories? Ican't find out any info on manufactuar anywhere! How does it work? Thanks James
