Check out these SuperSize starter contacts. They fit perfectly and are designed for twice the load as stock contacts.

I finally got my starter out to make sure they fit and, sho-nuff they do, just like the supplier said they would. They are designed for 24Volt applications and should last a long time in 12volt service. I guess this starter will outlast me now. :(

So now I have to save time to BOMB the starter - Does this void my expired warranty ?:rolleyes:

Does this improve the performance of your Starter? Then absolutely it will void your expired warranty... . :p

Do those super duty fixed contacts require a triple disc moving contact on the soleniod plunger to get proper lockup?

Maybe just rewire the starting circuit to run your batteries in series and juice the 12 volt solenoid with 24 volts for some serious lockup.....

Good catch on the contacts Larry.

BTW, The hardest part on changing the contacts is getting the starter out of the truck.

rev it up and diesel on

Are the starters covered under warranty? Nissan doesn't cover theirs. Least they didn't a few years ago. :{
