It's just a magnet wrapped around the fuel line. There was a "scientific test" done on those things by "Myth Busters" a month or so ago. They were just as effective as the stuff that mud dobber wasps wrap around stuff.

So, we are to believe that this "company" actually achieved room-temperature superconductivity, a feat which has thus far eluded leading scientists despite millions upon millions spent on research (granted, they're getting close though)?



And, it will clean your engine up, too:

And it reduces knock:

Oh, and this is great answer to the FAQ "What is it made from?":

I especially like the testimonials section... the story from the guy with the Explorer.



Just goes to show you, use some big words, convoluted reasoning, and cite some random "studies" and people will buy anything.

I fell for this one three or four years ago. As I recall the price was around 20. 00. Do not recall where I got it. Had it on a Chevy 350. This one is called Fuel Max. Probably the same as the one on the site posted above. What is interesting is that on the literature included with it is this:

Not sure what it all means - just found it interesting.

Interesting to note that all it says is that those patents belong to GM. It doesn't say WHAT the patents are for! They could be patents for a certain spark plug or something that has nothing to do with the fuel magnet thingy.
