Was looking for a 16" conversion wheel and tire. Found a Super Trail Tire set up. It is a 235x80x16, load range E. The tire and wheel sell for $142. 48. The tire is made in China??? Anybody ever hear of the make? Thanks

I ordered an 08 Arctic Fox 5th wheel, which should be available in late September. That's the tire that Northwood Trailer Mfg will install on it. As soon as I get the 5er, I'm taking it directly to a nearby Discount Tire Store to trade them in for Michelin XPS Rib LT 235 85R16 load range E. I haven't heard anything good or bad about the Super Trail tires, except that they are ST and they are made in China. That's two good reasons not to get them.

Chinese tires are for display only, and should be replaced before hitting the road with a trailer. Fake watches, toys and now tires. My Kenda's looked fine, but most went off like Chinese Fireworks. SNOKING
