Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) superchips and 3cycl. idle

I have an 01. 5 Ho and i have the superchips. . I bought this truck this summer so i didn't find out until this winter that the high idle wasn't turned on. Now i have a superchips tuner and i am wondering if that has turned the feature off or if it just has never been enabled?

It may have never been enabled. I have had mine done twice and it still doesnt work. I'm going back in next week to watch the tech run through the enable process. I have however heard that the Superchip tuner may disable the high idle feature, if it had previously been turned on. You may want to do a search, I think that I had seen that here in the past month.

ps- you may also want to check, I thought that it also did not work on the HO motors, I just noticed that in your sig line. Although I may be wrong the copy of the TSB kinda hinted at that.

I just heard that the tsb didn;t cover the HO's b/c it already had the updated ecm program. so no reflash needed. . I called superchips and they say that it doesn't effect the high idle, i guess i will give it a shot.
