Sorry for the double post (also posted in 2nd Generation Ram Forum (NO engine/drivetrain discussions)). This forum is where I originally intended to post. Anyway...

A family member, but not a member of TDR :-(, is considering the Superchips' D-box (near bottom of page). That fueling box's performance specs, installation method, etc. appear identical to the Edge EZ. Looks like a rebranded (OEM'ed) EZ to me. Can anyone confirm this?

I did a Forum search and turned up absolutely nothing on the D-box. Is anybody using this product and willing to share opinions?

The family member's interpretation of Superchips' statement "Has low EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temps) without exhaust upgrades" to mean "no pyrometer required". I read the constant advice here to get your gauges before/while you BOMB, but with boxes as tame as the D-box/EZ, do you still need to watch EGT's?

Your thoughts and experiences are appreciated.

Looked like it is the EZ box to me. I bet it also cost a lot more than the EZ. If you got one and cracked it open it would probably have the jumper in it with 3 settings just like the EZ.

$650 according to their price list, but apparently can be found for $529 shipped.

Whew, I paid $575 at a rally for my 125HP PE COMP.

and,

"No Pyrometer required" ??? Pyro's are supposed to come with a stock truck, but Dodge is to lazy.
