Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Hi there, i just thought I would pass along some issues I have been having with my newly acquired flashpaq. I did a fair amount of research both on these boards and talking with friends and finally settled on the flashpaq to be run at their mild towing setting for mileage and a bit more power and throttle response.
last week they released an update to be applied to the unit already available for the '05 and '06 trucks allowing its use on all third gen CTDs. After downloading the update and downloading the program to the truck, I didn't get 50 feet as it was knocking and had no power. (I also do not remember hearing the turbo spool up). So of course, I set it back to stock and without any problems.
Please note that I am not trying to bash superchips as I still believe in their product based on all of the reviews I have heard/read, so currently the situation is in the hands of their customer support. If anyone has had any similar problems, I'd love to hear about it, otherwise I'll update this thread as I have new information.
