Off Roading Superlift springs settling.

I have the 6" superlift, and after 20K miles the front springs have settled to within 1" of the bump stops. The tires rub now and the truck has a raked look. Is this right??



I called superlift and they didnt seem to care too much. The tech just confirmed that I had the right part numbers and that was it.



Anyone else have this lift/ problem????

My old superlift 4 inch kit did the same. But I got this sitting in my garage.

Its that heavy engine, I put sustom re-arched springs on mine, it sat high upfront for a week but then leveled of and it rides smooth, not bad for 8" lift

and for newer trucks 2nd gen on there is always spring spacers for the coils

That's just what I wanted. First, I'll buy springs that are suposed to lift it 6", then when they settle to 4", I'll put some cheap *** spacers in.

Carlos. ask adam or bret about the lift Greg (AKA Liftman on Norcaldieselforum) just put on his. I think they are some type of coilover spring set up. I cant remeber the name of the company but they are supposed to be top of the line. Greg said they ride like a Caddy.

Actually I've been thinking about doing something like that. Maybe KORE's 5. 5" springs with their control arms. Should ride even better than it does now. Or possibly Carli or Lorenz, but not sure if they have coils that lift enough. The dual FOX resi shocks ride really well.

That happened to a friend of mine with a SkyJacker lift and the took like two wks to get back with him. Gave him some new springs and those didn't settle. I would try going to the head of their tech department. Raise a little trouble.
