superplug gasket

first oil change due. ordered superplug to replace oem. superplug's supplied gasket looks very cheezy! plan to use oem gasket due to better quality, however superplug's hex diameter is slightly smaller than oem. my question is has anyone tried this without any oil leaks resulting. have read other posts of oil leak problems.

I have the Superplug from Genos and have done 2 oil changes so far, both times i re-used the gasket and i have yet to see any sign of any leaks.

this plug was purchased from superplug at www.superplug.com. it has a magnet as an integral part of the plug which is in the oil pan. have read other post's with different applications where leaks were a problem. just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this plug/oem gasket combo with success.

I agree the supplied SuperPlug gasket is cheesy, but It works OK and no leaks. Just dont overtighten it.

I've used the gasket supplied with Superplug with no problems. Do make sure you have a firm grip when you remove it at oil change time. I didn't once and the plug stuck itself back to the oil pan drain hole causing the oil to spill all over. I had to put my hand into the oil stream to get the plug off and drain normally. What a mess.
