I'm thinking about getting a set of these to help rear-end sag when towing our fifth-wheel (16,000 lbs).

Can anyone with experience on these recommend which model to get?

SSA10 or SSA15?

I assume the heavier-duty 15 because of our trailers high tongue-weight.

Thanks!

On our 3500's and 5500's we have added air bags that we can change the pressure in... .

We get a factory ride with no weight and as the load changes we can add life to level the truck.....

I have a set of supersprings for a truck camper ( 3k Plus pounds in the bed ) , I Don't have Factory Overloads. That is what I should have done. Than airbags as required, ( last 3 trucks had airbags, loved them ). .
The super springs work, well kinda.
I am just asking to much from the super springs. .

My guess is Heavier the better.
But, Suupersprings will raise the bed height.
The Heavier the springs The higher the truck gets when empty ( and also Loaded ).
It just grows Higher and Higher,
( ? If I can remember , 4-6 inches ?)
You will notice the difference Immediately)

Also, on my 02 Dodge ( 4x4) the rear shackle just clears the
bed brace,. . It was hitting untill I got different shackles from superSpring. The install was not that easy...

I did get Excellent Customer support, I had bought the lower
weight springs, they took those back ( small cost )and sent
me Heavier springs, Than they sent me several spring
shackles to get the spring adjusted for my load... .
( May want to call them, Easy to talk to a tech person )

For My application Supersprings were not the best choice.

If you need more info PM me. .

Been very happy with supersprings. I am loaded all the time with work. Really didn't notice a bed raise as previously posted. Call them direct they will give you the straight scoop

Same here as p-bar.

I have had them for some time and the non HD ones definitely don't raise the rear of the truck at all. Nor does it effect the ride. Not to mention that their customer support is top notch.

Im with Jelag. I have reomved my overload springs and added the Carli minipack and Air bags. When im empty i have better than stock ride and when im loaded with my 5th wheel or just a ton of gravel I use the airbags.

Best of both worlds. I could see using the heavy springs if you never unloaded the weight. Say a service body full of tools or a welding rig or something that is allways in there.

Depends how much tension is placed on the shackles...
I am getting 1500 lbs plus extra on the Super springs... .

It does raise my truck... Yes, it rides hard empty...
And , Yes, I now I'm overloaded, Please don't send the weight police...
