With the rising cost of fuel, has anyone looked into a hydrogen system for their trucks? I was told that it may be possible to add hydrogen as a supplemental fuel source for diesel engines, and potentially cut the diesel usage in half? (Going over 900 miles on a 35 gallon tank of diesel?)
Personally, I'm skeptical, but as I don't know anything about how the engines work, I'm not sure if it would even run on hydrogen. (I've been told our trucks will run on perfume, if you can afford it
IF it turns out we can run hydrogen, would it hurt power any?
To my line of thinking, if we can get that kind of additional mileage from basically burning water, there is a lot of money to be made in getting a solution in to production!
