Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Supply Line

I'm finally getting around to putting in my fuel system this week and need to know if there are any tricks to removing the plastic coupler from the factory suction line that goes to the stand pipe in the fuel tank. I looked at it today and couldn't get it to release. Thought it may be easier just to drop the tank to get it done.



Anyone have a better solution or easier way of removing the line?
