After my problems with the 2001, and all the problems I see daily on the TDR, I just had to say "I love my 93". 19-20 MPG, No problems, No fussing, no warranty issues, Just turn key reliability.
Thanks for letting me speak my peace. Sure glad I didnt trade her in on that 2001 I bought!

As the proud owner of a 93 250 LE 4x4,it seems to be the truck thats hard to kill. Mine is the dailey comuter and weekend wood huller and stump puller, with scratches and dings to prove it. 19 and 20 mpg is not a problem. These trucks I consider to be the last of the real trucks,and I use it like a truck.

You made the right choice by keeping the '93. The non-computer dependent Cummins,"real" Dana 60 front axle with manual hubs, leaf springs and NP205 transfer case is the BEST running gear combo ever put into a pickup truck.

I agree with you all. No major problems like the ones listed. I don't pull anything or haul much with it, but I certainly drive it hard. Those tires just don't seem to last too well on my truck and an auto too beat. Just why hasn't mine blown up yet I don't know. Actually seems to run better the harder I drive it. Keeps on going & going. Gotta Love It.
