In the morning when I first start off, I feel a surgeing when I come to a stop. It's almost strong enough that I sometimes have to put it in neutral. I first noticed it after my last flash and thought it was just me, but now I know better. Seems like it's when I have my trailer on, but it stays on most of the time. After the truck warms up, I don't seem to notice it. The engine rpm's raise alittle but the brakes doesn't even stop the truck without really putting your foot into it. Maybe it just needs to warm up alittle more ????

Sorry, haven't experienced it or read about it. Perhaps one of the Dodge dealer diesel techs will comment. If someone doesn't offer a solution I'd take it to a dealer you trust and ask them to hook up their equipment and diagnose it.

Mike Mullenax @ Elder Dodge in Athens, TX (East TX) is particularly knowledgeable and not too far away for a hotshotter to simply pay him a visit. If anyone can diagnose it, Mike can. He knows a lot about reflashes as well.
 
HBarlow, I see you answereing a lot of threads and maybe you could answere a ? for me. Do you know anyone in SE TX that would Drill and tap my Manifold for EXH Temp that won't drain the bank?

I called Bob Wagner in Houston this morning , He would do but would not tell me the price. He did say 90 bucks to do the down pipe. WOW!

I live in Alvin, TX . Going to go to Fla in mid May and want the gauges in before I leave.



I had the new recall done the 23 APR. Cannot tell any differance in driveing or MPG

but then, again, I'm hauling Dispatcher brains.

I really don't know if it has regen in the 3350 miles thats on the clock! I'm thinking about the EDGE INSIGHT unit to help me know whats going on.



Anyway can you help me in any way on the EGT Problem?
