Surging- cold transmission

When my auto transmission is cold {as of this morning} starts to surge rapidly like a jerking motion with medium throttle... i jus chaged the fluid and filter yesterday... i noticed it once before... any ideas?

Double check your fluid level. transmission/Fluid hot in neutral. If in park it will show higher than it really is.



Sometimes when the truck is parked for a longer period of time the TC will drain. You might try letting it idle in neutral for a few seconds before you take off in the morning.
