Guys,

While in cruise, the engine experiences dead pedal. I changed the TPS with dielectric grease on the connector. It lessened the effect but doesn't stop it. I take off the cruise when this happens. I release the accelerator then step on it again to resume speed. What is wrong? BTW this is on my 2008 Dodge 2500 with RevMax transmission & triple disc. Any suggestions?

You can look for loose connection by the go pedal. You have the tps but you should also have another sensor sending info to the ecm.
Plus your revmax transmission mite not be communicating with the ecm or trans module.

Good idea-----but I checked & replaced the TPS while lubing up the connection. Where is the second sensor? The damn thing isn't throwing any codes. I'm leaning towards the turbo, vanes not working correctly. What do you think?

I would check connections and clean the map/and maf sensor. Back in 09-10 dealer was showing a turbospeed sensor on my truck for the same thing but it ended up being a crank position sensor causing the truck to miss at a steady speed.

They used maf cleaner and cleaned off any dirt and soot build up. They have some videos on YouTube how to. Just spray so the gunk washes off

Qfast817, Pulled the sensors out but they were as clean as the day I put them in since I'm full deleted. Did grease them up along with 2 other sensors. Waiting to test them out after the holiday. Stay tuned-------Thanks, WAYNES WORLD
