Surprise-- No fold down floor

Went to pick up my Brand New 3500 raining cats and dogs of course salesman says he has checked all equiptment and it's all there. We get through all the paper work and go out and do the location of all the controls and happened to ask the salesman to show me how the folding storage floor works and he lifts the rear seat and guess what it's not there.



Had to leave the vehicle there they called this morning and said they would take one out of another truck and put in mine( i told them not to process any check or paper work untill it was installed)because this was a deal breaker. Believe or not they took care the problem within a couple of hours.

The rear was a quart low and front was a pint low. Let me know when it's safe to call

After I signed off on my new truck order, I noticed the flat floor storage was listed, but in the price column it said "0. 00. " I called my salesman about it to make sure it would be included and he said he'd take care of it, even if it showed without one. Either way looks like I got my for free either way, the main question is how good will his memory be if it shows up without one?

I got mine early on, but the order sheet said "$0" for my floor also. I think it's part of the SLT and up or the leather package or something. At least it was back in Septmeber-ish.

When i first ordered my trk we discussed the folding platform and i specifically asked about the price of it . Salesman says if you order the slt package with the prem cloth it is included in that unit or package. I told him my info says it 's not but he looked in the order book sure enough it was. I just accepted his reply but told him that i forsure wanted that platform.



I have the truck home now with the platform and will check fluid levels in the morning . Thanks to all for the info recieved on these items. I got a copy of the pdi and will double check in the morn. Thanks

My SLT has premium cloth and it doesn't have the folding flat floor.

Folding floor is not part of the SLT package.

Hi,

The flat loading floor is included in the leather package, also included in the Plus Package, or as a stand alone option for 100. 00 retail.

Not in the premium seat package the premium seat package includes a power seat, 60/40 rear seat and storage under the front center seat cushion.

Don't forget to check the fluids.

Diff Fluids

I dunno why, but my fluids were fine - I had my stealer check diff fluids (and the transfer case) when I had the oil changed. It's a very early '03 as well, delivered in early October - Mexican built too. Now if only they could keep water from leaking in around the roof clearance lamps!
