This weekend I got my truck ready for it's maiden voyage to the PA woods for my annual hunting trip. This included borrowing a cap from my friend who owns a 97 3/4 ton GMC pickup. I must admit, the blue cap doesn't look all that well on my nice white truck but my gas mileage has increased dramatically!! I went from 18. 2 to 21. 3 on my first 40 mile trip to work today! I think I might buy me one of these air foils!!!

AdamsTa,

In any statement you used to say Gas or Gasoline, replace the word Gas with FUEL.

"I need to get some fuel. "

"My fuel mileage is"

"I replace the Fuel tank"

"The fuel gage is reading 1/2 full"

.

.

.

The only one that doesn't work with this is Fuel Pedal. I think most folks around here refer to the pedal on the right side of the floor as the GO pedal.

I'd check that mileage a few times over sever tanks of diesel before I bought an airfoil or a cap. If you are going by the console info, ithe information can be erratic.

Since installing the "Volumizer" I have noticed better mileage. Which is a special bonus, since I seem to have my foot into it alot more lately!

I am not one who like to write on every post here, however it's Turkey Day and bored out of my #*&$#% so I am going to let you all know that it is true for me too. I installed a cap on my 03 CTD around 2K and took it off for about a month, my mileage was terrible while it was off??? I must of lost 2-3 MPG , no kidding.

I always keep it on now!

The caps look so good now a days that some people ask if thats the new SUV by Dodge???? I laugh and say... " why Yes it is... ":D
