Everything else being equal--make, model and tires all other 03/04 trucks seem to ride significantly higher than mine, and look taller when parked next to:confused:. I always ask if a lift has been added and have always been told no. Where would one find the info and measurements pertaining to the height of the truck. I know this truck was a demonstrator for a dealership is it possible the suspension could have been modified for ride and height?

Maybe an optical illusion? Carry a tape measure with you. Or, better yet, measure from the ground to, say, the bottom of the little black plastic air dam beneath the front bumper on your truck and post the dimension. Then some of us can do the same and we'll see.

measurements

Ryan here are the measurements:

From the ground to the bottom of the plastic air dam-15 inches.

From the ground to the highest point(inside edge)of front fenders-39&5/16in.

From the ground to the high point rear fenders 41in.

Any other numbers that might be helpful?

Just buy a 5100 Bilstein kit from Lorenz or a starter kit from Carli and your problems are over.

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. My measurements:

Ground to bottom of plastic air dam: 15"
Ground to highest point of inside front fenders: 39 1/4"
Ground to highest point of inside rear fenders: 41 3/4"

Note mine is a 3500 SRW. I'd say your truck is the "correct" height.
