brakes stuck

Need some info, my sons bike he bought June 08 seized up not alot of hours on it just riding around the house here, it does have oil in it BUT it did spend alot of time on the back wheel, anything we should look for before just ripping in to it? something common with these doing this? or just to much time on wheelies and oil not in correct spot?

TIA

John

could be running too lean look at the spark plug tip should be a light chocolate color. Assume this is a four stroke? Was it a used bike he bought?

I asked our Service Manager if he had heard of any problems with the RM-Z250 and he has not had any complaints or heard anything from Suzuki. I haven't had any complaints, either. The only time I know of Suzuki having an oiling problem was with the SV-650. It had oiling problems if wheelied for long distances or long periods of time such as stunting.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the bike may have been dropped and continued to run while laying on it's side? The oiling system on any dirt bike is set up to operate at extreme angles, such as wheelies or extreme downhills, and should keep the engine lubricated at those angles. Don't know anything else to tell you. Keep us posted.
