Yea -- The polymerization issue was related to a colorado bus transit system that was running Blue Sun B100. It was leaving particles in their filters every week or so clogging them. No permanent engine or injector damage. Turns out the fuel they had was cloudy and still had glycerine. Before they figured out the problem tho they abandoned the B100 and ran B20 without incident.
WVO / SVO are a whole nother story. What interests me is blending. There are many variations on blending. The DSE method, the 50/50 (#2 & oil) method, the wvo / diesel / gasoline / diesel kleen blend method, etc..... The problem is that nobody has a handle on the issues with blending. The advantages to blending are obvious tho. No special equipment or processing. Just filter, mix and go.
Supposidly the gasoline, #2 diesel and diesel kleen additive will make the burn more complete reducing the liklihood of coking and carbon buildup.....
Supposidly.
