NEAL, THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR PROFESSIONALISM TO THE PHONE AND TALK WITH THIS MAN! ;) I TOLD HIM THAT YOU WERE THE CO-FOUNDER OF THE DHRA AND SO ON, BUT I AM JUST A HICK WITH NO VERBAL SKILLS SO I DID NO GOOD--MAYBE YOU CAN SET US UP SOMETHING! Oo.

can i at least keep the 15 rwhp until tomorrow? cause im gonna go to elk creek dragway and test & tune---oh and if anyone else wants to go gates open @11 am until 6 pm, costs 10 bucks to run or 5 to spectate. it is supposed to be partly cloudly and like 48 degrees so the trucks'll run faster! Oo.

i also tried to find out about that and found no one that knew a thing at work, probably a good reason, its not happening. I would love to come down to elk creek, but the 92 is down at the moment, im replacing the steering gear box, unfortunatly i ran into a mishap with the ps return line fitting, it was froze and when i tried to turn it, she sprung a leak, going to carquest tomorrow, they have a fitting on the way we shall see if i can get it fixed tomorrow. It always turns into a job when i start something no matter how i plan ahead... . wish me luck.

Hi everyone, I'm a new member and I'm located up here in Pocahontas Co. West Virginia near Snowshoe Mtn. Ski resort and Cass Scenic Railroad. Thought I'd get in here and see if I could find out what all goes on in my area. Sounds like you are forming a TDR branch that would cover this area. If so I would be interested. I've found TDR to be a wealth of information and well worth the price of admission. I'll be watching posts here to see what's happening, maybe I can join in.

I wonder if the NRV raceway or one of the other tracks has a "group parking area" where we could meet up for a "meeting", then enjoy the racing for a while. Just a thought, since it seems many want to meet, but no one is jumping up to offer their place, or offer to organize much.

I know this gets into busy time of year for many of us -- shoot just keeping up with mowing gets to be a challenge.

In response to CumminSense last post... ... ... ... ... Meeting at NRV would/could be a good idea. Even Natural Bridge Speedway (for thoose Dirt trackers) is a possibility. I would like to meet, however, I don't have the space... ... ... ... ... ... ... . Yea I know "famous last words"... ... ... ... ... ...

Also... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . if anyone in the Roanoke area could let me know the current price of Diesel... ... ... ... ... It usually runs a few cents cheaper in Roanoke,in comparision the Lynchburg area (sometimes as much as 10 cents a gallon cheaper). I was in Salem last weekend for the GunShow, but failed to look, mainly because I filled up before leaving home.
