Swagman Bike Carrier

I built a receiver on the back of my TT using two square tubes across the I-Beams with another square tube bolted to the above that extends out past the bumper.



I use a Swagman receiver mounted 4 bike carrier. The problem I have is that the bikes bang and rub against each other while driving thus scratching the lower portion of the bike frames to the point that they look very beat up.



Has anybody come up with a solution to protect the lower bike frames with a hitch receiver mounted carrier?

I went to home depot and got some split foam pipe insulation. I put the foam on the bike frame were they will touch. It only takes a second to put it on and take it off. I secure the bikes to the rack with tie wraps. Hope this helps.
