Gotta take the rig in for an oil change next week. Should I swap the stock air box back on and take the AFE off for the trip? I would change oil myself, but we are fulltimers and we can't do that stuff in the RV park.

Just wondering how picky the dealers are. Thanks... .....

Leave it on. You CANNOT be penalized for anything unless it is proven that the particular item in question caused the failure of the particular item of a warranty claim. There is nothing that will outright "void" your warranty, without just cause.

Most dealers won't even raise a fuss about an aftermarket intake. Its just more of a PITA to take off and re-install the afe. Its easier to get the oil filter from the bottom anyway. Just leave it on

Rstanphill is right about the warranty

Before I bought my AFE I asked my servce manager and he didn't care if it was K+N, AFE, or anything else. Just as long as I got rid of that stupid factory air cleaner he was happy. :D

I agree with your thought but I was denied a 5th gear warranty repair on my 1998 5 speed due to a US Gear overdrive installed. We all know the 5th gear problem on the NV4500 was known as a design flaw. The repair was around $1,000 which I paid. Check out what an attorney will charge. My only recourse was to go to court which I threatned but didn't follow up. Its up to you to follow legal action and it will cost more than the repair. The dealer does not have to prove s***/. to deny the warranty.
