2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission swap steering wheels? 98 into 96

will the 98 on 4 spoke wheel fit in a 96? are the cruise/airbag connectors the same?





has anyone done the swap?

I could be wrong but I'm gonna guess and say it won't go. I know the clocksprings are different.

I don't know, but if you have one and find that you cant change it out, I would like to have a newer/better one for my truck! and none of the local yards have any:-(

I would also like to know if the 98+ up steering wheels work on the 94-97 as well, dont care for the looks of the older ones.

Nope won't fit...



Steering wheels from 94-97 fit those models only.

steering wheels from 98-02 fit those models only.



I had looked this up for another member who had a problem with his leather cover ripping apart. His was a early year and the new take off spare wheel I have is from a 02,had a good friend who runs a salvage yard look it up for me. Hope this helps..... Andy
