Well, like the title says, a friend and I swapped out a 180 pump for a 215. Everything went pretty good. Bumped the timing to 16. I can't seem to figure out where the throttle return spring should go. Where I have it hooked up now the throttle is hard to push. Is there different springs I can use?

Beach Bomb, looking at the FSM return spring hooked to bracket at end of throttle linkage (toward cab), the other end looks like it is hooked to bracket between oil pressure sensor and power steering pump right below or attached to P7100.

Is it hard to push while the engine is off or running? The pedal will not feel right when the shutoff solenoid is off.

I wasn't paying very close attention. We had blurry vision by the time we finished the feed pump swap. It was in front of me the whole time. The throttle sure was touchy without the spring hooked up and was very stiff when I hooked the spring up to the wrong post. All's good now, Thanks.

Beach Bomb, did you get a new 215 pump? If so where did you purchase it from? I want to upgrade my 160 to a 215 but don't know of a good place to buy one from.
