Swapping 23cm housing in twins to 26cm.

A while back I bought a 26cm housing for my ht3b and had it ported. Has anyone switched from a 23 to a 26 on their towing twins. Just wondering what kind of differences it might make.

Stick with a 26cm housing. I have tried both and the clear choice was the 26cm.

But what difference will I see over the 23 that is in my truck now. Less heat?

Yes less heat. It will pull harder on the top end .

Hi Gary, I tried the 23cm and found that it didnt pull all that great even in the mid range rpms. It felt that you were draging a anchor behind you. The egts at mid rpms were 150 degrees higher. Thats why i say that the 26 is the best overall housing to use. And i also tried it with my 35/12, 35/14, 40/12 and my 40/14 turbos. I even tried dumping the gate at different levels. The results were all the same as stated above.

where can you get a 26cm housing, I just bought a reman HT3B but it currently has a 32cm housing?
