Electric Brake Control Question

Need travel trailer hauled florida to new york

We have a 10' camper and wonder if there is a good sway bar retrofit for the truck. I would like to cut down on the rocking if possible?

I installed a Hellwig anti-sway bar on my 3500 dually truck several years ago. I haul heavy 11-1/2 ft Lance slide in truck camper and have been pleased with the results both with the truck loaded with the camper and unloaded. I've had no problems with the Hellwig product hauling my camper thousands of miles. The install was an easy no-drill bolt-on job. See TDR Issue 47 for the installation write up and photos.

Would there be any advantage if I added a swaybar for pulling heavy fifthwheel?

Any additional sway control helps when towing. Part of a heavy fifthwheel's load is carried over the rear axle. Makes sense that any sway control added to the rear of the vehicle will increase stability when towing. I have the Hellwig's on my truck and like them.
