The + and - switch on the shift lever is very intermittent. Some times it works some times not. What's up? '07 Mega Cab 6. 7.

Rono,I know the feeling. Had trouble with + and - toggle switch in less than the first three years. Went to troubleshoot by checking connectors all the way to the end of the shift lever. Connectors OK. Unplugged and removed the momentary switch board and tested continuity with VOM. Bad switches. Bought Radio Shack

tiny sp button momentary switches and jump soldered over board lugs. Plugged back in the truck with the board dangling out the shift lever. Drove it and was

flawless! Searched switchbord #5036302A and found Dura Automotive, a supplier to Chrysler. Called them up and told me comes from China. No luck getting any.

Ordered from Wholesalemopar.com P/N 5057438-AC Shifter G 210304007 discounted to $30. 61. Unplugged the switchboard from the new shift lever and plugged

back into my truck. Everything back to normal. Then around Dec 2012, switches went bad again! Ordered another lever and the price doubled to $62. 19!

On my third now. Haven't read any posts about this stuff until I read yours, Rono. Had to chime in. I believe in my case, that I am busier shifting +- way more

than anybody else because of my driving strategy in keeping the DPF happy and hot as much as possible. I am planning a post in the 6. 7 forum about "Living With A DPF, My Story". Anyway, if you go change out the switch board, you don't have to replace the lever, just the board. Remove the tow haul button assy from the end. Using pliars, wiggle and pull out the rocker toggle. New buttons are supplied if you scratch them. Pop down the knee bolster to gain access. Carefully wiggle

the cord as you pull out the switch board just enough to change out. Wiggle pull cord back in from base and snap in the new buttons.

Hope this helps. Tom

Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think I was the only one with that problem. At least there is a fix. When are these manufactures going to realize they should stop buying that China junk. The construction job I'm on will not allow anything made in China on site.

Thanks for the part numbers and names of suppliers. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks, Ron
