Switchable dome light

Anyone have a part number for this. My old truck had it an the new one doesn't, and I miss it!

I looked for the part number for a 2nd gen interior dome light, but came up empty handed. Your best bet might be to call or visit a dealer parts department.

Thanks ryan. I'm wondering if the wiring is there for the switchable dome light? I got to thinking about it, it would need a hot wire all the time, where the regular regular dome light doesn't.

I guarantee the wiring isn't there for it. As far as I know, there was no option for a switchable dome light on these trucks.

You'll have to do some retrofitting and rewiring to make it work, but I think it could be done with a little creativity.

The 3rd gens when ordered with the light group come with a switchabale dome light. That is the one I am looking for!

Well holy cow, I never knew that. In that case, the wiring probably is there. I went looking for a 2nd gen dome light!



Okay, the 2003 parts manual indicates 5FW60 TL2AB is the dome light for trucks "with illuminated vanity mirrors". I assume that illuminated vanity mirrors are part of the light group.

YES!!!! however I am not sure if it was in 03 or they started it in 04. My 04 did have it!



The light group consists of, under hood light, vanity mirror light, cup holder light, and switchable dome light.



I will check to see what that part number comes up with!

Sorry, no can do. I only have a manual for 2003.
