Switched back to Dyno... And Stock Cap!!

I reported a few days ago that my 06 had a SLIGHT rough idle at times. Just for grins I changed back to my stock Fuel filter cap and removed the Genos one. ALso changed my engine oil from AMSOIL 15/40 Syn to ROtella-T 15/40. Preliminary results are that the rough Idle is gone. Not sure which one of the two my truck didn't like ... so next time I need a fuel filter change I will put back on the Genos Cap... . Maybe the truck just didn't like the synthetic for some reason?? WHo knows...

you might be getting air in the fuel, that might be causing your rough idle

Seems like my little rough Idle is back after a 600 mile RT to Arizona and back. Getting great fuel mileage and the Idle is not that bad, but just a little rough if I have been pulling or driving in hotter weather. Any more ideas?? I have dosed it with power service and Lucus. GOing to wait a bit longer but isin't there an injector test that dealers can do? THanks!
