2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Switching Mirrors

My 97 has the metal frame towing mirrors, and I have been thinking about changing them to an aftermarket power towing mirror. I know I would have to have the bolt holes in the doors covered and painted but what I want to know is if there is existing wiring in the door for power mirrors (which I assume where an option in 97)?

No my truck didn't have any wiring and I had the manual sport mirrors. Which are gone in favor of the flip up tow mirror that I like very much.

Do you have the factory flip up mirrors? Are they manual or did you wire in the harness to power them?

If you want to, you could leave your stock mirrors in place, along with new ones. No holes to patch either.

the manual ones I don't adjust my mirrrors but acouple times a year.
