I've been wanting a set of the 20" factory wheels for a while, and finally lucked into a good deal. I know next to nothing about the TPMS, and would like some info on what I need to do to put my '13 17" wheel TPMS sensors on '14 20" wheels. Can this be done by me, or will it need to be done at the tire shop or dealer? Also, will I need to go to the dealer to get the correct tire diameter in the computer, or can I do this somewhere else? Thanks in advance..

You just need to swap the sensors without breaking them. Leave truck shut off for 1/2 hour, then drive for 20 minutes above 30mph and they should re-localize, unless you put them on the same corner of the truck they came off of. Then you don't have to do anything.

I'm new to this TPSM luxury tire management systems. The first for me is on the new little pickup I just bought the wife. The owners manual was letting me that when the TPSM units are installed on the wheel, they need to be sync to the main unit. Once this is done, (as mentioned before) you don't have to sync it again, until you break the unit, change the unit for any reason, or you change out the main unit within the vehicle.

So if he changes out the TPSM unit over to new wheels, placement on vehicle shouldn't be an issue, correct ? To re-sync isn't needed.

And from what I have been reading on of the wives truck, the pressure range is preset for the tires and vehicles. Is this the same for this truck ? Will changing size, style and such, where pressures might be in a different range be a concern ? Or is he stuck keeping all future tires the same pressure as the originals tires range ? (IE: heavy loads might require max tire pressure necessity)
