"Paychk" is kind enough to be giving me a Std. Cab frame that I asked for last Fall. I'm finally going to drive to LA. to pick it up.

The Frame is a "semi-roller" 2wd Frt Suspension (Dually) but no rear axle. I need to drag it up onto a trailer for the ride back to Tennessee.

Question: Will SWR wheels fit on the frt. hubs just long enough to assist in draging it onto a trailer and chaining it down?

Paychk sez NO... . They won't fit due to hubs & bolt circle. Just looking for a confirmation here! I wanted to leave Paychk the Dually wheels as spares if my old SWR wheels would fit to assist in loading.

Could you flip them to install backwards if the Bolt Circle was the same?

Rememer... ... This truck will never be driven, it's just a cab & frame w/ a frt suspension.

First Paychk is correct, single fronts won't fit on Dually front hubs.

Here's a couple options for you,

Roll on with Paychk's wheels, jack up on trailer, remove wheels,(block under frame so rotors don't work their way into trailer floor)

Strap down. When you get home either borrow some wheels or just drag the frame off(an easy way is to tie the cab and chassis to a tree and drive trailer out from under it)

You may be able to actually roll the frontend on the front discs, might have to bend the bottom of the guards so the disc hits the ground, if there isn't enough clearance under them so they hit the ground you could use pieces of 4X4 under the discs to lift it up alittle, keep moving the wood ahead of the discs as they roll.

If it was me and it was my trailer I'd just hook a come along up to the front of my trailer and drag it on, use some chunks of wood across under the frame so it wouldn't tear the trailer up and just crank it on. It really isn't going to be that heavy.

If you have something you could lift from you could just lift the front of the cab and chassis with a comealong or chainfall and just back the trailer under it.

Hope this helps, have a safe and great trip.
