symptoms of a failing transmission..

sorry for the "already been disscused" a million times im sure ,but i have a question. .



what are some symptoms? softer shifts? a "sputter kinda thing" when acceleratng from 40 to 70. . ?? or from a dead stop and ya jump on it, it does the soft shift thing? just some things that ive started to notice

My 06 had inconsistent shifts from the beginning. Sometimes soft and sometimes like a locked shift. They finally replaced the shift solenoid at 35K. It is better but not great still. My friend's 03 HO 48re shifted much better and his new 68rfe is in a class by itself.

yeah i thought about doing that tsb fix for the transmission but i guess dodge flashes the ecu... just curious if the symtoms above are an indicator of a failing transmission... thanks
