Attention: TDR Forum Junkies My nephew drives the big rigs on the oil fields and told me they have a problem with sludge buildup on the trucks which don't have synthetic oil--Detroit Diesel and Cummins.
Later in their engine life other problems arise due to the buildup.
My question is, will synthetic oil eliminate this buildup and is that a big factor in reducing sludge buildup?
