Just received another T-51 recall notice. Says my truck may catch on fire and that would increase my risk of injury! Then the notice states " YOUR VEHICLE HAS ALREADY BEEN REMEDIED" AND THAT THE NOTICE IS FOR MY RECORDS ONLY.

WTF?? This recall (and 2 others) were done by my local dealer several months ago. Is the FCA recall department running out of recalls to do, and is now sending out notices about previously completed recalls? I don't think so, as I've been half expecting a notice about tail gate latches or maybe another cat needed.

I've owned 4 Toyota vehicles over the last 22 years and have never had a recall on any of them (not even air bags), Wish they make a truck with a diesel that could tow a 5th wheel! Their quality control seems quite good.

I feel your pain. Have owned Honda cars since 1976 only recall ever received on any of them was for the Air Bag and Seat belt. My 2012 and 2013 Rams have spent more time in the shop for stupid issues than all my previous 4 trucks combined. I just want to get another 3 to 5 years out of it then unless Ram gets their act together I'm done with them.

I got the same thing in the mail. At first I thought it was another recall but it seems like they are just closing the loop on this recall which is the first time I've seen them do this.

Got my letter yesterday. I had Recall Shock when I noticed it was for my Ram. Thankfully as CoastyAV8R said, looks like their closing the books.

By the way CoastyAV8R thanks for your service Brother!

Some states will not allow the vehicle registration to be renewed if there are emissions or safety recalls outstanding. I would hang onto the letter just in case.

I to got the second notice too. Mine goes in on Monday, for all but the tailgate recall. They don't have a fix for the problem yet. Hope your dealers are better equipped for loaners than the number one Ram dealer in Michigan is 40 loaners/rentals 39 crappy 300's and one ram PU which has been out to the same guy for over a month. Not a 5 star dealer in the loaner dept.

Just got rid of a ‘14 Tundra because Toyota delayed and played games over a cam cradle oil leak until my warranty ran out. A known issue for years that should be a recall, but isn’t. Also a quality control issue that has never been resolved by Toyota.

My secretary's 4 Runner is in the same boat. It's been spewing oil and they toyed with her until the warranty ran out......then they were happy to fix it to the tune of 3200.00. At least Ram is fixing them......most of the time.
