A friend of mine who deals in damaged vehicles just got in a 99 2500 QC CTD/Auto 2WD Red T-Boned in the drivers side. Truck runs and drives. He is asking $7900 but indicated he would take a little less. His # is 817 596 5515... . "Some assembly required". :D

drawbacks

The only dawback to rebuilders is the salvage title. If it can be fixed without being declared "prior salvage" or "rebuilt" than the warranty can be honored. Cummins and Dodge will not offer any type of warranty to those vehicles.

own warranty station

Being your own warranty station is probably cheaper. Not to mention all the other bogus BS the dealership can tell you is wrong with the truck.

As long as you can get into a truck cheap enough to pay for a cracked block or damaged cylinder, or some other malady which always seems to strike at 99,999 miles.
