t--boned by a tempo

We were hit on the right front tire of our 4-wd dually 3891. 00 in damages. The body shop replaced door fender, r. board, tire rim, steering gearbox swaybar and stablizer shock The steering wheel was upside down as we limped home. It is going to lineup shop next. Any suggestions other than acomplete lineup? I am glad we were in a ''big'' truck, we went to the er , but just sore and stiff. The guy that hit us [it totaled his car] was uninsured so i have to pay 300. 00 to get my own truck fixed.

Glad you weren't hurt. Too bad about your truck. Make sure the place doing the alignment does it right. Go to Dave Fritz's web page and look at the alignment info. Also make sure the axle isn't bent and that the seal didn't get jarred, it would leak if it did.



You might want to take the guy to small claims for the $300 plus any med expences.

Generally, if its the other guy's fault, but you get stuck with the bill because of lack of insurance, your ins. company will cover the cost (in your case minus the deductible?), then go after the other guy to recover their costs. Don't know if they'll go after the deductible, too. Seems to me when this happened to me some years ago (much less damage), they waived the deduct. and went after the other guy. Never heard what happened.

Thanks for info I never thought about axle My insurance asked if I wanted to sue him He didnt seem the type to have many . assets [was headed to a local bar in aprimered 85 tempo]

How do I find Dave Fritz s webpage I finally joined TDR after reading it for a year,lots of good info. I have 20 thou on my 98 12 valve and am worrying about the KDP How long is the average wait for getting KDP jig Thanks
