Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) T/C Lockup?

Do I have to have mine reflashed on a 98 for it to be able to work or not?

im not sure it depends on the truck itself but from what i have read sometimes with the 47re you do have to have it reflashed. the gov. springs are not to bad to install the Shift kit on the other hand is a different story.

I think the early '96 is the only one that needs reflashing to make the lock up work.
