A company called poison spyder customs, A company that produces rock crawling type vehicles. sells aftermarket parts for this.

They carry a t-case that they say comes from the rubicon jeeps. pretty much the same t-case that they use in trucks are also used in the jeeps. they say they have these rubicon t0cases that exceed the one ton trucks t-case ratings.

Also the rotation is slightly different allowing the more beefier t-case to be better hidden in the frame.

the shafts flanges are much bigger and stronger.

I think they call them rock ready t-cases?

does anyone else know anything on these.

Jim... MHO here. . do you homework. . poison spider has some cool stuff , BUT do they play with the weight we pack in our rigs enough to give you some confidence ????...

I think mosty of their stuff is related to lighter rigs with much much lower torque than we put out

not trying to say they don't have it but just questions that go thru my head.

The transfer case is a NP241J, or Rock-Trac. It has 32 spline front and rear putput shafts, a fixed yoke instead of a spip yoke, and a planetary gearset that is stronger than the NP 241HD. It also has a low range of 4:1 instead of our low range of 2. 72:1. JB conversions sell these also. I would check with them on installing one in a Ram. The magazine article I read was about installing one in a Jeep. JC
