I just wanted let members know what a stand up company T-rex engineering is. I ordered one of the first prototype suspension kits for 2003 3500 last year. The kit was very high quality and was user friendly on installation for those choose to do there own work. I was hesitant at first because of the price. After using the kit for a year, I feel it was the best money I have spent on the truck. The road ride is as good as a chevy half ton, and it's nice to know if I want to wheel my truck like it's in the baja 1000, I have the capabilities to do it. The customer service at T-rex is the best I have come across. Kent Kroeker one of the owners works with each customer to meet there individual needs. He recently upgraded my original shock towers for free with the newly designed ones because he felt they were a better design. He also revalved my shocks to accommodate my style of driving at no charge to me. Kent has taken the time to call me several times to make sure my installations have gone smoothly, and to make sure I was happy with the new valving, again offering to revalve if I was not happy. I am in no way affiliated with his company and wanted to let everyone know what a great product and customer service T-rex has.

. :) And I have to agree... Last October I finally made it to DEPO over in Tulare. From the coast, travelling East on Hw. 46. Left on Hw 99 to Tulare. Yes the 99 sucks, but with the T-rex. the bumps had no teeth, and only the sharpest ones clued you in that they hadn't ground the road flat. You will be most happy with the results. Be sure to be honest in your answers to Kent when he asks you how you drive your truck. He customizes the shock valving for your truck and driving conditions.

IS the 99 THE worst road in the state of CA or what? i hate that highway. What is the DEPO in tulare? How do they revalve the shocks? Do you have to send them back to them? So your truck is down while you pull the shocks back out? If it will kill the bumps on the 99, i'll write the check.

If the shocks need to be re valved they need to be removed and returned to Kent, the stock shocks and towers can be easily reinstalled on the T Rex bolt rings to drive the truck if necessary. I drove the 99 from Bakersfield to Stockton a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all, I did have the the camper on so its not a fair comparison, BTW it also rides much better with the camper on than before.

I've had the T-REX set up for about 5 months now and couldn't be happier with it and the support from the company.

I did some pretty rigorous testing with it while in Baja last fall and was blown away by it's performance.

For those of you who don't know Baja, the pavement is about as smooth as most dirt roads in the US, and the dirt roads vary from miles of nasty washboards to rocks and potholes. It is about as rough a place you can play with a truck. If something works down there, it is going to work just about anywhere.

Even my wife, who normally just rolls her eyes when I talk about any truck related item, recently commented on how much better the truck rides now, and that maybe I'm not as much of an idiot as she previously thought.

Mine is a second generation and it was $3500 for the basic set up, plus $500 for installation at Rockstar. I think that rear leaf pack is another few hundred dollars.

I would recommend talking to Kent at T-REX for exact amounts.

I can add my enthusiasm for the T-Rex system and the great personal service given the the owner Kent. I recently returned from a 5 week, 3000 mile trip to Baja California, Mexico and whar a difference in ride! ( see my post under the long long thread, Racing Suspension in this forum) This is a terrific system and what great personal support!
