I bought a T-stat today. 1998 12valve. No gasket Part # 3925466 was not available here in Abilene Tx. Does anyone in Texas have one or two? I can pay for the gaskets and shipping. Thanks Donald.

There is just a o ring in there. It should reuse just fine.

Pull the rubber o-ring off the old gasket.



But for my nickel, if it don't say Mopar or Cummins, I don't think I want it.



I got one from AutoZone before I knew better. Cheap looking thing with a paper gasket. Went to the $tealership and paid $27. 95 + tax. When I compared the two, I returned the AutoZone stat. No way would I trust my expensive Cummins to an after market stat.

Thanks for the xpertise. Given my situation reuse the o ring is the only way to go. I went to Corey Wetzel Freightliner. I found their service at the parts counter to be excellent. Seven calls were made to other local parts houses for the o ring. That included 2 ste???rs.
