I just purchased a Fluid damper and a 5" Autometer tach,

the autometer tach requires 4 signals from the damper but the stock damper uses 2.

Before thinking it through I machined two more grooves in the damper for the autometer tach.

So now what will happen with the stock tach if i use that damper with the 4 grooves??? (signals)

On a related note, anyone know what wires are what on the factory sensor?

do you mean on the back of the gauge cluster??

Im going to look in a couple of days and disconnect mine because i think (like wildman said) i might be doing double

Why not just step the grooves on the damper? If its wide enough for that, I dunno if it is... you could run the stock closer to the engine, and leave the 2 original grooves there, and just put two more at the far side of the damper... ?

hey, i could be way off base... who knows.
