Does anyone know what kind of output the tach. pick up sensor puts out? I would like to drive a gasoline v8 tachometer with (see why, here) it.
I'm getting my engine this week, but until then I'm preparing for installation, hence the question and lack of ability to test it right now.
If necessary, I can convert the signal using a Dakota Digital tach. signal convertor. Previously, in another application, I successfully used 4 rare earth magnets glued to the crankshaft balancer and an Isspro tach. pick up with the same tach.
