nv4500 operating temps?

Forgive give me it it sounds a little stupid but How do you put a tach on a 4bt with rotary pump and no electronics?

For me the used stufs make sense I purchase and adaptor plate that came with the sensor all ready but in truckshops I found it for $20 this is the electromagnetic that came with 2 screws this sensor need to be conected on top of flyweel check you bellhousing will have 1 or 2 holes at 12 or 2pm. Then you need a tachometer check to find and electric 12 volt or 24volt depending of you vehicle, also check the conection on back the ones that have multiple connector doesent like to me, I prefere the ones that have cleary stamped where you conect the 2 wires of the sensor and + - of the bat then your are done. Oh last thing some tach have dipswitches that you configure dependending of the flyweel size or teet number. For used tach visit truckshops and ask places where they dismanteled trucks

I've always heard that there's no Mechanical tach drive available for B's but I have seen this on a stationary application, It would definitely run into a problem with a automotive style fan.

I took a pic of the ID plate but can't locate in the puter

I occasionally see this motor so I could prolly get #'s if needed and post here :D

There was an article 1 or 2 issues back, in the first gen section, that shows step by step how to create your own "W" terminal (tach signal) in the stock ND alternator. . This is a 6BT / Dodge alternator, so it may or may not apply to the 4BT - depends on your alternator I guess...
